Abstract:
Viewpoints on investment: the two biggest pieces of news this week are that Google has purchased Motorola Mobility and HP has given up WebOS mobile phone and tablet PC businesses. The common logic behind these two pieces of news is that the mobile terminal manufacturers are pursuing new business ecological chain featuring vertical integration of software and hardware. In a middle or short term, Google’s purchase of Motorola Mobility will protect the benefits of Android manufacturers. We are optimistic about low-end Android mobile phone manufacturers such as Huawei, ZTE and their supply chain.
